Look Out Viagra: Here Comes 'Love Jet'
By Kerri Selland

PITTSBURGH (Reuters) - After more than 50 years in the
invention
business, Yoshiro NakaMats has migrated from disk
drives to sex drives.

The man who claims to have invented the floppy disk
says he will topple
Viagra as the love drug of the century with Love Jet,
a spray-on libido
booster he calls one of his greatest inventions.

''I have created many inventions in many areas,'' he
said. ''The most
important area is human relations and happiness.''

Love Jet is available in Japan and was unveiled in the
United States
this week by NakaMats at INPEX, an annual invention
show that opened
Thursday in Pittsburgh.

INPEX bills itself as the world's largest invention
show and serves as
a forum for inventors to exhibit their ideas and make
contacts with
manufacturers and distributors.

The inventions among the 1,500 exhibitors ranged from
practical to
silly to bizarre. Although NakaMats was not handing out
free samples,
his table drew some of the largest crowds, as well as
some Viagra-style
jokes.

NakaMats has doctoral degrees in engineering, law, and
science, and
holds more than 3,000 patents, including one for the
digital watch.

He says he invented the floppy disk in 1950, a claim
that is disputed
by IBM Corp., which says its scientists invented the
disk in the 1960s
using in-house technology.

But IBM confirms that NakaMats has several floppy disk
patents that he
leases to the company.

NakaMats said Love Jet has been researched and tested
on subjects in
Japan for 10 years.

The product comes in a small spray bottle and can be
used by men and
women. Just aim at the groin and fire.

NakaMats promises an immediate boost in sexual power.
At age 71, he
uses it frequently. ''The results have been very good,
excellent,'' he
said.

Love Jet works by helping the body release the sex
hormone DHEA, he
said, adding that it is better than Viagra, made by
Pfizer Inc.
(NYSE:PFE - news), because it has all-natural
ingredients and no side
effects.

Love Jet also improves memory, he said, because the
brain and sexual
organs are interconnected. ''One cannot function
without the other,
they work together,'' he said.

One more bonus: Love Jet promises smoother skin
because DHEA minimizes
the effects of aging.

NakaMats said he will choose a distributor, probably a
drugstore, to
begin selling Love Jet in the United States by
year-end.

The cost? ''Very affordable,'' he said. ''For a
60-spray bottle, $99.''
