U make a good point Doctor !

I do follow MCF also and if these 2 break the PP price it is VERY bearish signal IMO.

But let's say a stock trades at $10 and the P decides the stock will stay at this price he then places a very large bid at 9.95 and a very large ask at 10.05.. he 'boxes' the price.. if he buys stock at 9.95 he immediately offers these shares at 10.05.. he 'recycles' the shares
- usually this technique will work at least for a period of time..

PP's IPO's and share issues often make interesting situations for traders : we know what the P desires and we know his 'bottom' price..
at least for a period of time..

there I go again talking to much in public

there is also the 'green shoe' clause in many PP's and IPO's that is worth reflecting upon

Happy trading and lots of cash to us ! Let's bust this casino table !

Oh yes : let's remember these P's they are traders just like us no more no less ! They dont invest they trade, they make the market.

It is nice to think these P's that are at the hart of the market are just traders like us and not investors and usually they are the ones that make the most $$$ sunshine or rain/snow.
