Really, this is not bad news. Intel has rarely led the charge into a new Si generation. This strategy hasn't seemed to hurt, and, in fact, there is a reason for this. I had forgotten about MOT/Siemens. This only bolsters my opinion that the timing of going to 300mm is right, with maximum return on investment.
