E. Davies,

Having grown up with low double digits inflation, I know that a dollar doesn't stay a dollar in the money market fund. Yet, people seem to get more disturbed by nominal asset price drop than real purchasing power drop via inflation (which are both impossible to avoid in a realistic scenerio as nobody can time the market). I wonder why?
