James,

INTC is attractive at its current price. I think K7's release may knock INTC down to the 40's. If that happens, I will add a lot more INTC. Last couple of years have been though on INTC stock holders. AMD has competed a lot more effectively than most people have thought. But K7 is its last move. Once we kill K7, there will be no more competition on the 32bit PC platform. Then there is also IA64 coming out next year. And StrongARM should do very well. The new communication related acquisition should contribute to further growth for Intel.

Torch has been passed to from INTC to TXN, from CPUs to DSPs. Own the "next" INTC: Texas Instruments, up 165% since September 97.
