A post off the RagingBull from someone who talked to Putnam. Post # 30998 Talked with Mr. Putnam today and he says its only a matter of formality on Lanier and look for news on the INTC deal. In a nut shell the Lanier product is shipping and INTC NEWS is near,along with other major players, linked to the RECORD industry. My own thinking was that I wouldn't expect to hear anything from Intel till July at the earliest. That's what makes this investment game so interesting, you don't know when a new bomb will drop. By the way I listened to the interview and he definately said that Sony was working with e.Digital on a new secure download device. He may have meant Lucent but he never mentioned Lucent, only Sony and e.Digital. So to say otherwise is speculation, the hard fact is he said Sony and e.Digital. We'll find out in a few weeks anyway.
