Here, from reading their site, it appears that they are going from the users PC, to a gateway and then going to 800 or 888 numbers. So the companies are probably going to pick up the bill just like 800 or 888 ... paying for straight time.

exactly how it occurs now. you dial the number using the net2phone software, it is not automatic. until voip pbx's begin to be installed, will we see something along the lines you describe. idtc currently does not have a directory service that does autoconnecting and dialing that i have seen. but is there the saving with voip pbx's? and can they assure the voice quality?

sprint allows for netmeeting calls to be setup as a conf call with multiple users, for a fee, and you do receive a better quality call. instead of one to one only through the default msft gateway.
