The latest awards include a contract for $357,000 to produce three slat assemblies for the Air Force's B-1B aircraft. The Company also announced today that on Tuesday, June 8, 1999, the U.S. military's central procurement agency presented CPI with the Defense Supply Center-Richmond's Gold Medal for excellence as a contractor. This award, which is based on quality and performance, is the highest level honor that the government can bestow.
