The other key phrase in that memo is "we believe." That's not too far from "we hope." Oceanic's employees has had "VOD" with the SFA2000 box for sometime now. Over a year. They've been testing servers for a while also. Although they WILL be deploying SFA boxes, as of a month and a half ago they still didn't know whose server they were going to use.

They do offer "near VOD" right now for an extra $11. a month. They have a few hundred titles and growing. All old stuff. If I remember correctly the movies cost $1.99.

They've been upgrading the system for a while now and only a few areas "seem" ready for a VOD launch. They usually take a while. RoadRunner has been available for a while now, but still not in alot of areas.

The guy I talked to said that they should begin to offer VOD in July if testing goes OK.

this market is getting spooked along with the rest of it. Technicals are taking hold....yet again.... throw the fundamental news items out the door for a bit..... the market is mute to it. Big trading range..... 52 week highs not breached ..... I'm still cautious.
