Dear BLT, Thank you for your response. I too am happy I have faith. You know no person stuffed faith or God down my throat either. I was taken to church, met many people along lifes path, had good times, had bad times. Everyone's life if different. I know and remember when I only had faith in myself and myself alone. But there came a time when I began to look deeper at the differences between myself and other people, both good, bad, weak, strong, etc. I noticed that some people seemed to nearly drown in living their lives. Now I am speaking of - when I looked beyond the frame of the physical body and words from their lips. I noticed the difference between people and the difference was coming from inside. Some rode through their hardships fighting and crying, moaning, suffering, and others seemed to rise above. Now there are various ways to rise above. I tried many of those various ways, into many different areas. I'm sure most people have. I found the truth, not a truth, THE TRUTH, proven by predictions from the scriptures that have come to pass. I found the truth by asking God - if You are real, then reveal yourself to me. God did reveal to me the reality of the truth of God. Now I have tons yet to learn, but the learning is the fun part. Watching the impossible happen (!) when it is just simply impossible is a testimony to THE TRUTH. I have someone I can go to and get a ANSWER ---- THAT WORKS!!! I can speak to the one that is in CONTROL!!!!!! The one who DIRECTS life. I give Him my problems, He listens and gives me His suggestions that I may or may not accept and act upon. I am LEARNING to LISTEN to His wisdom and act upon it. And when I do as he suggests - it is amazing to me HOW He works things and people around to help me and others. I am saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I have been given gifts to help myself and others along the way. This is a great blessing to me because I know we are here for a specific purpose; each with his/her own individual purpose. Finding it is our work, and then working on it is the greatest joy there is. I guess that is why I am speaking to you BLT. You do have beliefs BLT. Creativity comes from -a belief-. You believe that being an agnostic is proper for now. You believe that your auto will turn-over when you turn the key. You believe that there is food at the supermarket else you wouldn't go there. YOU BELIEVE THAT THERE EITHER IS A GOD OR THERE IS NOT A GOD. That is for you to deal with, but you are able to deal with it. It is way down there now, (the question ). How can you "gain strength from my agnosticism."? You gain strength from a lack of knowledge??? You say say that "I never have even a moment's doubt because if I have any reason to doubt a belief, I don't hold that belief." So any time a question enters your thoughts you quickly sweep it out the door.? People that created (invented) all our marvelous machines, how about the telephone, radio, x-rays, medicines, autos, etc, etc, etc, those people began with a belief, and acted upon that belief. Aren't we grateful that a belief in the telephone by good'ole Alex Bell wasn't dismissed as soon as it said came into his mind and spirit! Animals don't invent (create) things, ONLY WE LIVING MASS OF ATOMS (adams),can create, just like our creator. That is one reason satan hates us so much. He can't create anything, he only has his hate and his ability to steal, kill, and destroy, but that's conditional - only if we allow him to do so. I prefer as an example: Q. Is there life on other planets? A. I don't know, lets try and find out. Q. Are there marvelous things I can accomplish? A. I'm going to find out. Q. Is there a God? A. Maybe yes, maybe no, I will look for Him and see. Bob we can talk about other things too. Most any thing that is of interest to both of us. How about Y2K? But I earnestly hope for you, the sparks fly, and you become a detective! Uh Bob Columbo, well looks like I just gave away my age by means of television time line!!!!!
