That's so sad, nihil. WOuld any of us give up the joys of the love we've had to avoid the pain? I wouldn't. PArt of the loving IS the pain.
ANd I think memories of happiness and shared love have a longer shelf life than the bad stuff anyway, so to refuse a chance to have love leaves one, as it did you, with only the sadness.
