Amen to that. I have nothing personal against Alina Cho, but I always thought the hourly general news briefings were a waste of valuable airtime on CNBC. Same goes for Joe Witte's weather reports. DirecTV gave me Headline News, The Weather Channel, and a remote control for those instances when I want to tune out the market and find out what's going on in the world. When I'm tuned into CNBC, I want to hear about stocks. Can't help but think that the daily "Hillary Watch" cheerleading time could be better spent by giving Kernan more time to cover a few more story stocks, or give a guest another 60 seconds to discuss his picks.

That said, I find it quite offensive to hear so much about a self-serving slimeball like Hillary on a channel (CNBC) devoted to covering capitalism. It should surprise no one when ultra-liberal channels like CNN brand Hillary as "Savior of the Universe," but I expect more professionalism from CNBC. When she officially throws her hat in the ring, I can understand Alina Cho giving it a 20-second news blurb, but this everyday crap about "ooooh, Hillary looks like she might be looking to run for Senate...oooohh, we spotted Hillary shopping for homes in Westchester County..." is nauseating. I don't live in NY, but what is so bad about Giuliani? I always thought of NYC as an armpit until he became mayor...yet we hear nothing about his possible run, only Hillary's. I can only surmise that CNBC is merely trying to keep Barbara Streisand tuned in during the day.
