Herm,

Thanks for the answers. Killeen, I lived in Copperas Cove for 3 years, my Dad had the concessions contract on the base at Ft. Hood. After getting married I lived north of Houston in the Woodlands for 8 years. Steve Peace would be hpeace right? has he stayed in touch with the thread? sounded like he was a pro...

More questions:
>> Regular stocks is more like 20% to 50% income ...
are you figuring taking out your income or compounding?

>> I sometimes short against the box rather than buying cheap PUTs or CCing for downside protection.
I know what shorting is, but what is shorting against the box?

again, thanks for your answers, and your experience, perseverance, and diligence. I have always admired people who stick with it...

How do I write covered calls on LEAPS. I currently have a 2001 QCOM 45 LEAP and want to generate income on it. Do I write covered calls on the 45 strike price or 100 strike price? I have never written a covered call on a LEAP but have written them on stocks.

I am new to the forum and have studied the WINS presentation over the weekend and am quite excited about the concepts!!! I have always written my covered calls without looking at technical indicators, etc and have lost more times than won.
