There are still plenty of patriotic Democrats...their partisanship may have overridden their judgment in the previous case, but you are right, national security is a different kettle of fish. To me, the question is this: does anyone anticipate a timely wrap up of the investigtion? If not, they may not bother to open a new OIC.
