Uhm, I hope he wouldn't. I'd still meet him, though, if he did. Business is going to double? What's up in the little town? Here I was thing that when Jill contacted me to say that an anonymous person wanted to make me an advance to finish the book (or a million dollars - I'd take, either) that I'd come see the place. Sounds like a great spot to hang and get a few chapters written. I want to meet Norton, and Dash, and the mayor, and go to an event.

BUt where is there to go? We feel that way about Southlake. It was nice and now it's getting not nice. All the nice places are going. Unless you're Ross Perot and can buy the whole town and not let anyone in. Today is Call and schedule dentist and doctor appointments, last night was pay the bills before they turn the electricity off. Life is a never-ending round of thrills and excitement at our house. The first few times I baked a chicken I didn't realize that you had to take the innards out. I was surprised when I found a little bag inside later. I thought, "Well, aren't chickens well-organized."
