Robert, I would put in a 'good til cancel' order for 97.. IMO that is the ground floor.

Good luck!

RR,

I've only seen true institutional money come in and defend in the range of $85 through $95. We had some hints at support at $103.50 the other day -- but that was not very much. Today is evidence of the need for more info before the heavys seem to want to buy in above $95.00.

I thought we might get some volume this morning on the open (day of earns announce), but nothing doing.

Otherwise, if its a birthday gift I wouldnt be too hung up on it -- presuming it'll be held for a good while. However, anything under/near mid-90's is probably fine. Just one man's thoughts FWIW.

Robert, that is a very nice gift to give your daughter. Years from now she will be very grateful, I'm sure. If she will hold them for the long term, now wouldn't be a bad time to buy. However, buying 25 today and 25 next week after the reports are out(earnings,PPI,CPI)
although a bit overly cautious (IMO) wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Good parenting!! mozart
