"(Interesting to note that a packet of such diamonds for some company went down with the Swissair flight that crashed on the east coast of Canada, and still hasn't been found)."

That's basically a true story, by the way...for any doubting Thomases out there. :-)

Regards,

The nice thing about diamonds is you can carry them with you,
why would he travel to Antwerp without the stones. Does he
trust Greyhound or Purolator more than himself. If it was a
security problem hire a security guard.

What does the Swiss Air incident have to do with these particular stones? Why are you relating that? What are you getting at?
What is your point?

Yes, of course the company wouldn't be in possession of the diamonds until the evaluations are finished, that's part of what security is for - to ensure chain of custody. Ok, so they could happen in a week, with another week for transport, i'll accept that then ... i was sure i'd heard it differently ..... does anybody know whose diamonds those were on the Swissair flight? .. mpv's? Ekati's? ...... thanks, russett - great post
