Thanks for the DiskTrend summary. I wonder if he includes in his forecast for 2002 drives for digital VCRs. He never mentions them in this summary.

Mark,

I was surprised that the DISK/TREND report that you posted didn't generate more discussion. I particularly thought the projection of ASPs actually rising after the year 2000 might be criticized. If the disk drive pie grows to $50 billion by 2002 are we going to be sitting around here in three years marveling how this industry is a lousy business? Or is this growth just what the doctor ordered?
