Re: Earnings .... Every quarter we go through the same song and dance. As shareholders most of us have bought off on the principle that earnings at this stage of the game aren't terribly relevant and can be manipulated at will by CMGI management through "liquidity events." Yet every quarter we wait breathlessly for earnings announcements hoping that they will: 1) boost the stock, or; 2) not affect the stock. It's pretty silly in my opinion. I am more interested in the ratio of CMGI share values to net asset value and the anticipated future growth of CMGI assets. None of these factors are addressed in earnings.

That's an interesting observation.

You probably noticed that this morning, a block of 100 June 85 puts and a second block of 200 June 85 puts were sold at 3/4. A market maker probably did the sale.

Suggests to me he didn't think there was a material risk of the stock declining to that level prior to expiration.
