reall the institutions that hold nite
We are all schizophrenic in this crazy market lately. Remember NITE was number 1 on IBD's anniversary list of best stocks to own now. The brokers might say one thing and do another...or their warning may be for the "average Joe" who aggravates the life out of them when his portfolio rollar coasters

The selling today is again by FBCO - seems like an endless supply. The fact is that NITE stock is very sensitive to market downturns, in keeping with traditional brokerage stock patterns. In down/bear markets, the volume drops, and the trading activity, especially by individuals, drops off sharply. I guess the perception is that NITE revenue would drop accordingly. Longer term, if NITE continues its international expansion, revenues should grow nicely (though ECNs *do* represent some risk to NITE's business model); the feeling is that a lot of the growth has already been factored into the NITE current price. Personally, I'm optimistic about this stock, even if there may be some short term pain.
