frank re "other white box makers" that is my point....if dell is to maintain a high valuation on stock price, as in the past it must, in no uncertain terms, make visible to the world what new lands they intend to conquer...their flag has been firmly planted in the world of pc's.... you can be the best pc maker in the world, grow at 40% rates, great bottom line, good company to own, but if that is all you are the market will and is valuing dell just as that...the #1 pc maker....meanwhile the "losers" have withdrawn their main forces, and are launching an offensive so they may plant their flags in brave new worlds.
