Robert,
RE:"Jim,

I don't much like New York, the city. I dislike Sprewell, never cared for
Patrick Ewing, think LJ is a horrific underachiever, know little about
Camby or Thomas, yet I find myself cheering loudly for the Knicks.
What is it?"...

Wanna hear sumthin' funny?
I feel the same way. I do know a little about Camby and Thomas though as I followed Camby in College at U Mass and Thomas when he was with the Heat. Camby needs more muscle IMHO...with that he'll be a superstar if he stays healthy.
As far as Spree...everone knows he wasn't really chokin' Carlissimo, it was just a little neck massage. <GGG>
I usually don't like NY teams but like the 69 Mets I'm pullin for this one...especially now that "striker" Ewing is out.
All the best.

Jim

Maybe you and Jim are enamored of Spike Lee and his buds in their Knicks uniforms behind the Knicks bench? Like to join them?

Tony

Maybe like Intel, most Americans like a winner, especially if it thumps its enemies to win.
