Skeeter Bug, Third world countries are way less dependent on computers than the US. -BGR.

Right about 3rd world, dependence will be much higher on the few but unfixed systems, at least from an international trade perspective. Some think that those countries that aren't fixing their problem will be ostracised before too long (banks first, then down the line). Russia only recently decided to start working on their problem, for example. Nobody wants to be waiting for payment (or materials) from a manufacturer in Lower Slabovia when their computers go belly up. BTW, companies with JIT manufacturing processes can be really hurt by even a single supplier going offline. McNealy has mentioned this in connection with Sun Microsystems, but I'd presume Dell would be particularly vulnerable. Something to think about in your investment choices this summer and fall...
