LAUNCH.com Enters Webcasting Arena;LAUNCH Live Debuts on Intel WebOutfitter Service

June 10, 1999 01:59 PM
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1999--LAUNCH Media Inc. LAUN Thursday announced the debut of LAUNCH Live, its new concert webcast service that is available to owners of Pentium III-processor-based PCs exclusively for approximately two months on the Intel(R) WebOutfitter(sm) Service (intelweboutfitter.com).

After the introductory run, LAUNCH Live will reside on LAUNCH.com with Intel as the section's main sponsor. LAUNCH Live consists of three main components: a series of concert webcasts from major recording artists from around the world, an interactive remix challenge called MixLab and specially created artist pages.

LAUNCH Live will bring the webcast experience to a new interactive level by creating a "virtual venue." In association with SFX Entertainment and CBS Radio Networks, LAUNCH Live will feature major worldwide artists throughout the summer.
