BGR,

I recall only a few months ago when the power to the entire Bay Area (SFO, San Jose, Oakland) was knocked out by one failure in a system. (Don't remember the details) To say the least, I was amazed that this could happen, but if this can happen in the US, then maybe a little paranoia may be in order for third world countries.

bgr, the point was that it doesn't take a lot of computers to have a SERIOUS y2k problem.
