Well, I'm surprised no one else here went to the shareholders meeting and posted their comments (mark, I saw you there!). I noticed that several people over on Yahoo! provided excellent synopses of the meeting so I recommend everyone take a gander over there. I have just a few other things that haven't been related yet.

(BTW, the Company taped the entire meeting, so if enough shareholders request it, it may be possible to convince the company to make it available via RealPlayer or other net streaming software.)

1) The scanning technology that was demonstrated at last year's meeting has been on a backburner for a long time as the Company has focused on other markets. However, when I asked Rick specifically about it, he mentioned that we "might" see some results in this area in the next couple of months.

2) The ISTOP (??) announcement is much more important to the Company's strategic market and product development than I inferred from the Company's pres release.

3) The prototype devices that we got to check out worked great and were lighter than I was expecting. The prototype that the Navy used in its testing in Hawaii was a monochrome red display and showed moving (spinning actually) images of excellent clarity. They have a newer model that is about two-thirds the size but the one shown lacked the necessay drive optics to demonstrate it.

4) Analyst coverage: Rick joked that we have infinitely more coverage than last year (one vs. none last year). He says that while the company has an active program for getting in front of investors and analysts, one of the problems has been that Microvision fits into a category for which their is little to no Street coverage. Since almost all display companies are foreign, few brokerage firms will devote any coverage to this industry. Josephtal initiated coverage primarily because it realized that this was a niche in which it had zero competitors on the Street and could make a name for itself.

5) Rick gave much recognition to the crusading shareholders that set up the Mvispages.com website. (He didn't even mention the official MVIS website.) He was pretty direct about the fact that it was an informal source not directly associated with the Company, but you could tell that he was personally enthusiastic and pleased about the effort.

6) The new corporate HQ is nice but we were restricted to seeing the front lobby, and part of the upstairs (where the meeting was held). It appears that there is ample space to grow currently as the areas we glimpsed were near empty. Unfortunately, we didn't get a look at the lab areas downstairs.

If I remember anything else, I'll post it later this evening.

You must have either gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, or you went to the meeting looking for a reason to be negative, because you are the only one who has anything negative to say. Actually I would call what you had to say something more akin to whining. And as for Bill Owens, he couldn't be there because he was putting the finishing touches on a $100 million a year project with 98% after-tax margins, so cut him some slack. Next time when you post, try to come up with something that adds some value, you sound like my 4 year old.

p.s. I guess I am a little late for my April fools joke with the $100 million deal. Sorry....
