I think QWST is just waiting to see how all-optical switching develops. They have more than enough bandwidth right now w/o DWDM, and building an all-optical network is in no way foreclosed. Whatever initial steps FRO has taken down the DWDM path aren't enough to award it the overblown title of "most advanced terrestrial fiber optic network on the planet". RE: Are these figures for FRO or for SUN? What I'm asking is whether your figures are for (a) FRO's (Sun-based) server farm, or (b) all Sun servers in the world, FRO and non-FRO combined.
