That's true...targets get in the way sometimes..getting a few hundred is not too hard, it's the averaging of the better trades with the "no luck" days that make that a reality. Often my trades are 1-3 day holds..buy one day, sell a few days later..I'm studying the first hour of the market and how stocks react and behave to news, etc., because I would really like to take advantage of the volatility at the open. Don't trust myself yet to play with the big guys with the quick fingers and quicker minds..:)

Amazing how similar pattern the small traders have. I also started out with a small target daily, then instead of raising bit by bit, I went for the big gun and lost more than gain. Now I settle for 2 points up and 1 point down, unless the chart shows more up side then I'll raise my stop point by point. It seems like I'd do better if I become less emotional.
