US and NATO and the world and the Kosovo Albanians will benefit greatly from a stable Yugoslavia. Unfortunately the peace process will be a long one. The KLA has to play this one very smart. They need to appear as peaceful representatives of the Kosovo Albanians, while keeping their weapons available for after the UN mission is over. The KLA needs to cooperate peacefully with NATO. The KLA and the Kosovo Albanians will come out of this in much better shape if the KLA stays strong and peaceful. Time will tell if the KLA is going to shoot itself in the foot.
