It may come in time, but it'll be a long long time before something like that is seamless and can be priced within joe six packs price range. ie. under 20 bucks per month for unlimited usage. If they could offer two-way digital communication seamlessly for a flat rate under 20 bucks.... short all local phone carriers, all long distance carriers, cellular phone companies, cable, direct Tv, all paging and other such carriers... They would all be in the same boat you want to put CD Radio in. they are not going to be able to offer such a service within a timeframe that would be worth discussing. not in 10 years.
