Actually the problems of last summer and the Iridium and ICO problems may have created one huge BO. It may be that the delays and problems have been hugely beneficial to G*.

Iridium operating costs are dominated by Motorola's Operations and Maintenance subcontract to the tune of nearly 600M$/year. This figure seems preposterously high, but it's in IRID's SEC filings.
