GO2NET HIRES THOMAS CAMP AS VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
SEATTLE, Jun 15, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Go2Net, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET), a network of branded, technology- and community-driven Web sites, today announced the appointment of Thomas Camp as vice president of business development. Camp comes to Go2Net from the Boston-based law firm of Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, where he represented Go2Net in several of its most significant business transactions, ranging from the company's recent $300 million investment from Paul Allen and Vulcan Ventures, Inc. to its acquisitions of IQC ( iqc.com ), Haggle Online ( haggle.com ) and Virtual Avenue ( virtualave.net ).
