For all the whining there's been over the last year, and then some, about how the world needs Japan to get its act together, Wall Street sure hasn't taken to well to the suggestion that it may actually be happening. A surprise 1.9% jump in Japanese gross domestic product has taken away one of the last arguments of people who thought the Fed would stand pat this month -- that the Fed wouldn't tighten because it was worried about fragile Asian economies. On Wall Street today, we're hearing less about how the Fed won't raise rates at the June 29-30 meeting and more about how it might raise rates by a half point rather than just a quarter.
