Slighty Off Subject TO: ALL Reported for informational purposes only See my post 4464. Joe Carrieri, my friend, knew Joe Dimaggio very well. Joe Dimaggio was his hero, also. I will state that the late Joe Dimaggio was one of my heroes, along with George Patton, Lou Holtz and others. In my personal opinion, Joe Dimaggio, whether intentional, or circumstantial, did more than anyone that I am aware of to unit America and bring the peoples of all nationalities, in the USA, together. Joe Dimaggio, maybe, was called a "strange bird" by some folks, but there was something magic and special about him. All Americans loved him and he was their hero! God Bless this fallen hero, Joe Dimaggio!
