TraderJ: Pardon my ignorance, but how do you know a trade was
a buy or a sell - isn't there a party on each side? Or do
you just assume that if the trade took place on the "ask"
it was a "buy" and if at the "bid" it was a "sell"............
if this is the answer - then I submit to you that you ought
to sit for an hour or so at a brokerage trading desk and
watch what happens...then after that - spend an hour or
so in their "block trading department".
