MForthright,

They produced a dismal negative quarter with no warning to the analysts who were recommending them. It's been my experience that analysts with egg on their face are twice as nasty as the other sex when scorned. If, IMO, GPW can produce a positive quarter, investors and the market will forgive, but the analysts may take a bit longer than one quarter. The fundamentals are as good as ever, the money was used to pay for consolidation of their many acquisitions (so it seems), which is a good thing, and also partially resulted from less than expected Y2K revenue, but I don't think the market will recognize this until it sees new positive results. It could go even lower if their next quarter report is delayed to 7 weeks(as usual). If, by some internal adjustment, they report a second negative quarter, I'll look at the long position I still hold for recovery in the next millenium, but not this year! (Mr. Kaiser should look at this one, it's right up his alley for bottom fishing).
