Ibexx, a good call. I am always late, I try to see the signs of a turnaround before I jump. Now, if the SOX can stay above the 430 level, that should provide for an "all clear", but with uncertainties relative to interest rates, and the 30 years rate well entrenched above 6%, I think that we will stay at best within a trading range. The semis might actually do well in such a range, since I believe that lot of "nutty" money from the internuts will flow their way and the real internet winners like CSCO and a pretty unknown company CCRD (one I like very much in the low 40').

Ibexx,

I never thought you were out on a limb.

BTW, I actually heard CNBC do several Intel stories in the last few days without putting any kind of negative slant in them. It's very unlike them. In fact, they've overemphasized the positive with the Intel 300mm announcement without mentioning the effort required to get there.

But who's complaining?

Barry

Ibexx:

Since June 23 and not a SI post!

How right you were about that pivotal point. It was a turning point for the whole market not just for Intel.

Wherever you are this week, I hope your week has been as pleasant as mine has been. I will be eternally grateful for the very early discussion we had on this this company on the Intel thread starting in Sept? '96 when we first heard about Intel's investment in Rambus.
