That part of the post had puzzled me. In any case, it is not that difficult for Canadians to get work visas if they have skills or some professional qualifications.

BTW--I agree that the demonstation bit and the whole argument surrounding it did not make sense--I guess Boies wanted to cover all the bases. Reminded me of the MSFT screw ups in the first phase of the trial.
