My translation of the HRE press release: "We've got another bid from another company that doesn't plan on firing all of our staff. The only problem is that the amount of cash this new company is offering isn't as much as what Samson is offering. We are in the process of trying to figure out a way to spin this thing to make it appear that the new offer is better, but we're having a little difficulty, which is why we aren't saying anything about the value of the new offer. The only reason we're issuing this press release is that we heard that Samson was having some success in their proxy war." It's a sell signal to me. Which probably means the stock doubles from here, given my recent luck.
