Tom what is this NY-cut thingy Well sir it was good ......what can I say although I did detect a hint of socks in the flavor as well as the aroma. All in all delightful!

I like the prime rib, cut into steak size...on the GRILL!!! Smother it with the Jim Beam or Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and nummy!!!!! Medium rare, baby!!! ...and no crappy gas grill...charcoal and LIGHTER FLUID!!!!!!!!!!! and NO matches...a butane torch!!!!!!!!!! AIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
