Valence is hardly a startup. They have already burned $150 million over several years and have yet to deliver a single battery to the market, nor is it likely they will anytime soon.

The stock promotion fraud is real and ongoing.

Shorty, to the best of my knowledge, neither LITH nor ULBI have sold production quantities of polymer based Li batteries. The only one that seems to be close is actually Thomas and Bates, but that activity will be only a small part of their overall revenues, at least initially.

Shorty, in essence the bullish case behind VLNC is that they've developed techonology that creates batteries that have twice the performance characteristics of anyone else in the field, i.e., twice the power per unit of weight. Look at some of the earlier posts by FMK to get details. And in terms of commercial product, they have recently announced a shipment of 35,000 meters of laminate to their joint venture partner in Korea. So us long suffering bulls are finally beginning to see the light, I think.

There are also those with large short positions in the stock. Personally, I doubt if Bill Wexler is one of them; maybe he's just shilling for the shorts. He strikes me as all brag, no fact. So don't pay a great deal of attention to him.
