Your arguments have always made a lot of sense, and probably will be born out.
My problem is with a lot of intangibles that don't readily meet the eye.
For example, isn't Davidow still involved with RMBS as a Director and major shareholder? IMO he was the smartest and most tenacious marketer Intel ever had. (I'm sure you remember "Operation Crush", when little Intel effectively toppled Motorola from the top of the CPU heap. And with what many viewed as an inferior product).
Just MHO's of course.
I'll back off now, this subject has probably been beat to death. <g>
