Good Morning Michael, I may be interested in buying some US Gov. Zero coupon bonds in the near future, (I would be looking for a bond rally I am not seeing one just yet)

Anyway looking at the thursday WSJ I se the Nov "24 ci bidding 20:27
asked 21:00,

the Nov "24 bp are 20:31 bid, 21:03 asked .

the CI's- are stripped coupon interest,

and the Bp's -Treasury bonds, stripped principal.

Question: the Zero's are the Ci's aren't they?

could you elaborate on these

and Yes I am aware that you need to make the yearly tax payments of interest accruing even though it is a lump sum payout at the end.

Thanks,

John
