<<Chris -- I heard an interesting story today regarding Straus and Kalkhoven. Seems they were both at Nortel and at some point along the way they each left --- one to develop active components and the other passive. Their friendship is long-standing and the merger an unusual bonding of talents. This should bode well for the transition. Pat>> If memory serves me correctly, just after the merger announcement there was an article in a newspaper which described their friendly relationship. I believe there was mention that they both did some outdoor recreation activity today which led to some discussions about a merger. The rest, as they say, is history. Chris
