tarad, imho, if you don't know why you own dell then you never should have bought it. asking others for advice is a sure way to pain, imho.

educate yourself, empower yourself and make your own decision.

asking for input is cool. but nobody should convince you of anything.

best of luck.

TARADO 96
This is DELL, not some momo play that went south
when you got up for a cup of coffee.
DELL will see $48 again this year.
Whether to hold or not is a matter of your patience and willingness to cover your margin should we go lower.
I'm in the same boat as you though my average cost is
lower ($43) I covered my margin and I will do so again if need be.
You started with about $15K. If you sell at these levels you will
loose 8K and have 7K left.
This is the decision you have to make
Which is more likely??
1. DELL goes back to $48
or
2. I can turn $7K into $15K trading

Both are entirely possible, but in my case, I choose #1
Its a much safer bet.

I usually buy and sell stocks based on TA. I bought DELL at 34 7/16 this week. I expect a few points rise in the short term ( few weeks ). I have no idea when DELL will be back to 48, but I think you can get more than the current price soon. JMHO. Do your own DD.

Tar,
I am realistic when I tell you to hang in there and some day you will thank me and all the others who are possative about DELL. My son in law bought when it was $55.00 so don't feel too bad. VBG I kept telling him to buy and he waited and waited. If you have any buying power, buy more DELL to average down.
