Dirk did say that they were Mhz obsessed in the design and they used no magic tricks other than what is found in the K6.

Charles and RDM,

Pretty impressive numbers.

Quite a bit better than I had expected frankly.

I had expected maybe 5% on intger and maybe 20% on FP over a PIII let alone a Xeon.

The designers have done a helluva job.

Lets if the manufacturing guys can deliver.
