That's interesting, Bruce. I wonder if they just figured the picture was bad PR based on recent news stories or if the picture was raising too many questions. They were supposed to roll their product out in May but it's not rolled out yet.

I never did get in on their sneak preview. Did anyone else? I applied twice but they never even responded. That seemed a little odd, or maybe it's just something about me. <g>

Bruce, did you read the press releases on the MCY.com site? A flurry in February touting NETrax as "the" solution for SDMI, and their connection with IBM.

Said Fritsch, "We will go on-line to the mass market in March regardless of what the rest of the world does. We will not wait until the industry develops a standard because I strongly believe that standards are built by putting a certain format into the Market. The Market either accepts it or not."

Well, March has come and gone, and there have been no press releases since 2/23. Maybe they ran into some problems with their technology:

NETrax (TM) is comprised of three unique technologies that result in three important features that benefit the user:

Superb sound quality in 16 bit stereo with high sampling rates that result in better than CD sound quality;
Sophisticated Compression Algorithms that allow rapid delivery on the Net;
Watermarking and Encryption to prevent piracy and copyright infringement.

Maybe they needed outside help? <g>
