Elmer - RE: "Skepticism is indeed normal but stupidity is rampant. I have asked
for some common sense here and there doesn't seem to be any.
Doesn't anybody find it strange that AMD refused to present any
numbers? If there is no configuration data, and no benchmarks
published, for all we know the benchmarks were run under Win98.
Someone present some data and we can make some reasonable
evaluation.

I am capable of being wrong. I am capable of having my mind
changed. I am not capable of being bambozzeled by BS. If there is
no data then any skeptical mind would question it. The absence of
data is significant. You just can't see it now. I think you guys are
too intoxicated by the moment and need some time to clear your
heads."

You seem to be starved of numbers. Wait longer, and in less than 19 days, you, I, and everyone else will get real-world app. numbers.

I am impressed with these spec numbers, but I want to see the Real Deal numbers, like you.

DIrk said he personally like Rambus, but AMD doesnt plan any immediate support. DDR is another matter with support appearing next year.

Dual processor capability is in the "Possible enhancements" followed by other multiprocessing capabilities. We have prototypes of MP in the lab, but "I cannot comment further" he said.
