Did he say anything re: manufacturing

Dirk went out of his way to discuss the design methodology and how they had specifically avoided introducing any new manufacturing issues. He implied there were no circuit design techniques used beyond those already flushed out on K6. He also commented that unlike K6, they have not pushed the MHz very hard on K7. The pipeline was designed to be very balanced.

There was considerable discussion of the conservative design methodology, which would be rather dull to delve into, but I was quite impressed. I am encouraged that K7 will avoid the frantic MHz scramble which K6 suffers from.
