Tallest Building - (CHICAGO) June 8, 1999 -- Plans to erect the world's tallest building at 7 South Dearborn Street in Chicago were filed Monday with the city's Zoning Administration by European American Realty Limited. The proposal is backed by the Chicago Digital Broadcasters Committee...a consortium of local television stations. . .to erect new digital antennas on the building. The planned 112-story building will be 54-feet taller than current tallest building, the Pretronia Towers in Malaysia.
